Personal Finance

I will teach you to be Rich by Ramit Sethi

In Episode 2, our guest, Justin Lee, shared some of the books that he read when he was developing his personal finance strategy. As I, Amit, have been in the process of developing my own strategy, I decided to read I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi. This book was awesome and extremely helpful because it lays out a plan gain a grasp of your own personal finances over a 6 week period. I'm personally on week 3 and I have already saved over $50 in fees, and have simplified my bank accounts so that they are much easier to manage and track. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has questions around RRSPs, TFSA or who are looking to develop their short term and long term financial goals.

This video does an amazing job at describing the key differences between TFSA and RRSP accounts and explaining how they work. Young Guys Finance also describes the benefits and drawbacks of these accounts and helps you decided which account is best suited towards your needs.
