Resources

While resources discussed in each podcast are included in the Show Notes for that specific Podcast, we have decided to use this resource section to pick and choose some of our favourite resources we have come across in conversations with each other and with our guests. Resources will include links to books, videos, articles, etc. This page only includes resources that we have used and that we personally recommend to our listeners.

* Disclosure: We would like to be clear that some of the resources below may be affiliate products, which means we may earn a commission for products we recommend to our listeners, at no additional cost to the purchaser. Please note that product commissions are not taken into consideration when we select our most recommended resources. All resources below have been selected because we have gained personal value from the content, and we feel our listeners can also gain value from them too.

Personal Finance

I will teach you to be Rich by Ramit Sethi

In Episode 2, our guest, Justin Lee, shared some of the books that he read when he was developing his personal finance strategy. As I, Amit, have been in the process of developing my own strategy, I decided to read I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi. This book was awesome and extremely helpful because it lays out a plan gain a grasp of your own personal finances over a 6 week period. I'm personally on week 3 and I have already saved over $50 in fees, and have simplified my bank accounts so that they are much easier to manage and track. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has questions around RRSPs, TFSA or who are looking to develop their short term and long term financial goals.
